25 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far along? 25 weeks 2 days

Size of the Baby? eggplant

Maternity Clothes? yes

Gender? pink

Movement? she is still moving occasionally but not all the time. i love it when she starts moving.

Sleep? same. getting gradually more uncomfortable as my belly is getting heavier and it takes a lot more effort to roll over and change positions in the middle of the night, which ends up waking me all the way up and takes me longer to get back to sleep. no complaints though, because im not having to be anywhere super early in the morning.

Cravings? jello pudding, biscuits (still), orange juice is always amazing, as soon as the thought of it pops in my head, i NEED it IMMEDIATELY. (like now, i will go get some when im done blogging)

Symptoms? my back still hurts. the chiropractor felt great..and byrd and hannah gave me a gift card for a prenatal massage, im going to schedule next week, cant wait!! also, i am MISERABLE after i eat. and halfway into a meal i feel like I cant breathe. I try to sit up really tall to make more room, but it's tough :)

What I miss? Nothing

Milestones? not really a pregnancy milestone, but my college friends through a little brunch shower for me on Sunday at Soby's at it was so great!!! Wonderful to catch up with everyone and Mary Tyler got a bunch of precious little things. Cant wait for my two big showers in January!

Weight Gain? 11 lbs.

What I’m nervous about?

What I’m excited about? Her bedding and chair cushion has been being made this week and we can pick it up on Friday!! So excited :) Thanksgiving next week!!! My prenatal massage. going in two weeks for another 3D ultrasound to see who she looks like! :) Christmas music. Meeting her!!!

Baby Center Update for Week 25: Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.
