Eeek! Sorry this update is late :)

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far along? 12 weeks 2 days

Size of the Baby? Peach

Maternity Clothes? wearing the bella band everytime i wear jeans now. gonna go to old navy on sunday and try to get a few cheap things to get me by for a little while until i buy my "quality stuff" later this fall

Gender? I dreamed it was a boy the other night!! could it be blue?? September 7th at 2:30 we will know!

Movement? Yes, but I can't feel it yet.

Sleep? Not so much this week, it's been SO busy!

Cravings? Candy!! I always love candy but I have such a sweet tooth right now for those rainbow colored airhead extremes sour belts and gobstoppers ... haha. other than that im just eating whatever doesn't sound terrible at the moment.

Symptoms? The nausea is almost obliterated!! still get the occasional burp followed by sinking feeling. Newest symptom: my tailbone KILLS! whenever I sit down it feels like its going to split in two. Apparently, its normal and hopefully over the next few weeks as my uterus rises more it will subside. Also, still getting headaches.

What I miss? umm. nothing right now. just happy to be pregnant !

Milestones? Had a dr.'s appt last Friday!!! it was pretty uneventful though. didnt get to do an u/s but did get to hear the baby's heartbeat via doppler (166bpm) We use the doppler at home a lot, too :)

Weight Gain? still hanging out at the same as last week. I lost 7lbs the first trimester and have gained back 5... so I am still two pounds less than when this all started :)

What I’m nervous about? not sleeping very much when baby gets here... eeeeek

What I’m excited about? Finding out the sex!!!!!

Baby Center Update for Week 12:

The most dramatic development this week: Reflexes. Your baby's fingers will soon begin to open and close, his toes will curl, his eye muscles will clench, and his mouth will make sucking movements. In fact, if you prod your abdomen, your baby will squirm in response, although you won't be able to feel it. His intestines, which have grown so fast that they protrude into the umbilical cord, will start to move into his abdominal cavity about now, and his kidneys will begin excreting urine into his bladder. From crown to rump, your baby-to-be is just over two inches long (about the size of a lime) and weighs half an ounce.
